Sunspot no 978: about the size of Jupiter as of this writing, getting ready to explode and utterly beautiful. I can stare at stuff like this for hours...

've been known to shine a flashlight on a particular ember pointing out it's beautiful intricacies until all its' batteries are drained, and the fuel supply is burnt to its end. three am in the woods
